Maria is a qualified teacher with 300 hour Jivamukti and various other certifications of Hatha yoga and anatomy. She is constantly working on her practice through study and working with other teachers and has just completed a yoga meditation and Kirtan intensive in Crete. She has been practising meditation since her late teens when she found going on meditation retreats in the U.K would give her constant busy mind a feeling of peace and tranquillity like no other. 2 months of study in India and various Vipassana, Buddhist tantra and yoga retreats throughout SE ASIA and Bali, She has studied many spiritual concepts and made Hindu Ashrams, Buddhist Temples, Krisna communities and various yogic communities her home whilst delving into their teachings. She worked in the field for many years in Asia where she cultivated her own techniques for bringing mindfulness calmness and total presence in the present. Maria is so passionate about mindfulness and meditation that her son joined her enthusiastically from the age of 7 at Satsang (Spiritual gatherings) he is 18 now and still practising.
Maria went into the healing arts field after being diagnosed with fibromyalgia which was so bad at one point 6 years ago her fingers and toes pointed in different directions and her body would freeze up for months at a time. After spending fortunes on healers just to function as a single mother and to be able to work she trained in Reiki and other energy workshops bringing together a system that works for her consisting of sound therapy, crystals, reiki and dowsing and guidance from spirit guides and angels.
Maria has facilitated free meditation groups on zoom since lockdown started sometimes reaching up to 100 people from all over the world and loves the feeling of bringing mindfulness calmness to so many lives.
